Well no words can describe Daniel Bock's first visit to Palm Tree as on the first day he not only caught 'The Warrior' tin the morning, he backed it up with the worlds biggest carp in the afternoon weighing in at 241lb becoming the first person ever to catch a brace of carp for a combined weight of over 400lb. He also landed pacu, leopard catfish, chao phraya catfish, and Amazon redtail.
 
Moll Molineux and had a much better session this time the pinnacle of which was the capture of a rare firewood catfish. He also gained membership of the Palm Tree Lagoon BIG catfish club after a two hour plus battle with a monstrous Mekong catfish, as well as landing pacu, Siamese carp, rohu, striped catfish, and both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
Our good friends from Finland Johnny and Tuula paid us a visit during the month and had a great session topped off by the capture of an awesome Salween catfish and a motoro stingray both new species for Johnny. He also landed the 'Friendly Mekong' for a Palm Tree BIG Catfish t-shirt, as well as chao phraya catfish, black shark minnow, wallago attu, mrigal, both Amazon and Asian redtail and more...
 
It was a stellar month for the guides catching an awesome variety of stunning fish like Siamese carp, ripsaw catfish, Chinese silver carp, alligator gar, giant featherback, koi carp (escaped livebait), chao phraya catfish, Salween rita, both Asian and Amazon redtail and more...
 
Jamie Stanley landed a myriad of different species that included a number of less commonly caught ones like giant snakehead, ripsaw catfish, and cartla carp.He also had vundu catfish, black shark minnow, Chinese bighead carp, Siamese carp, pacu, chao phraya catfish, wallago attu, yellow catfish, striped catfish, Mekong catfish, alligator gar, as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
Another regular Glyn Pile caught a nice variety of fish topped off by an elephant ear gourami and vundu catfish both new species for him. He also landed bearded labeo, alligator gar, yellow catfish, Siamese carp, wallago attu, black ear catfish, Mekong catfish, Amazon redtail and more...
 
Another first timer Paul Heaton also caught a number of superb catches that included a stunning Chinese silver carp, and an even bigger Chinese bighead carp. He also landed Mekong catfish, black shark minnow, alligator gar, striped catfish, mrigal, Siamese carp, chao phraya catfish, as well as both Asian and Amazon catfish.
 
First time visitor Michael Mayfield was all smiles with his catches of Siamese carp to a 100lb+, yellow catfish, Mekong catfish, striped catfish, pacu, chao phraya catfish, and both Amazon and Asian redtail.
 
Michael Latawiec and his girlfriend enjoyed their first session at Palm Tree catching some great specimens that were topped off by a Palm Tree BIG Catfish Club qualifying Mekong catfish and a stunning alligator gar. He also caught Siamese carp, rohu, chao phraya catfish, striped catfish, as well as both Asia and Amazon redtail.
 
Fellow first timers Steve Donegan and his fishing buddy landed a wide variety of species that included Chinese bighead carp, Siamese carp, Mekong catfish, giant featherback, Salween rita catfish, black ear catfish, pacu, striped catfish, alligator gar, catfish shark, as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
Another Palm Tree regular Klaus Fix was back for another session landing a number of great catches that included the likes of ripsaw catfish, beaded labeo, Mekong catfish, alligator gar, mollycot, tambaqui, striped catfish, rohu, wallago attu, and Asian redtail.
 
Cat and Peter from Thailand Fishing Friends brought one of their customers down for a successful visit topped off by an impressive Salween rita catfish. He also caught a variety of other species that included Mekong catfish, bearded labeo, yellow catfish, Siamese carp, black shark minnow, and Amazon redtail.
 
Neil Murphy was well chuffed with his catches that included an impressive ripsaw catfish. Not stopping there he went on to land a chunky Mekong catfish as well as striped catfish, and both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
Tap of Bangkok Fishing Guide Service brought two Austrian clients down for a successful session that was topped off by a stunning Salween catfish. They also caught alligator gar, Siamese carp, wallago attu, rohu, striped catfish and a number of Amazon redtail.
 
Richard Larter and Robert Watts made their inaurgural visit during the month catching the 'Friendly Mekong' as well as tambaqui, Siamese carp, black shark minnow, catla carp, black ear catfish and Amazon redtail.
 
Palm Tree regular Derek Ewing was back catching a variety of species that included both Chinese bighead and silver carp, striped catfish, Mekong catfish, rohu, as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
First time visitor at Palm Tree Liam Fountain had an enjoyable session landing alligator gar, catla carp, striped catfish, pacu, Mekong catfish, leopard catfish and some chunky Amazon redtails.
 
Palm Tree regular Paul Muir returned catching Siamese carp, leopard Catfish, rohu, as well as both Amazon and Thai redtail.
 
Mark Lazenby enjoyed his session landing Siamese carp, catfish shark, striped catfish and both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
Duncan Roberts and his fishing mate caught several fish including these Mekong catfish and Siamese carp.
 
David Harris had a slow day but did end up catching several fish including this elephant ear gourami, which was a new species for him.
