Terry Eustace was back and in fine form as he banked four Siamese including ‘The Warrior’ by lunch on the first day. He then then went onto catch elephant ear gourami, black shark minnow, Mekong catfish, giant featherback, wels catfish, catla carp, giant gourami, big-Y catfish, striped catfish, Chinese bighead carp, golden snakehead, as well as both Amazon and Asian redtail.
 
 
 
 
Martin Daly visited us at Palm tree for the first time in March .and had a great session topped of by some great catla carp, Juliens golden price carp and albino Chinese silver carp. He also caught ripsaw catfish, Siamese carp, mrigal, Mekong catfish including the ‘Friendly One’, albino pacu, albino striped catfish, chao Phraya catfish, wels catfish, alligator gar, Amazon redtail and more…
 
 
 
 
Dean Turner made his annual visit in March and what a real bobby dazzler the session turned out to be. To start with he caught some rare species like the granulated catfish and albino Chinese silver carp as well as three different Palm Tree BIG Fish Club qualifiers namely ‘The Warrior’, the ‘Friendly Mekong’ (twice), and another big Mekong catfish that weighed over 400lb. Not finished there, he went on to land a variety of other species that included Juliens golden price carp, black shark minnow, rohu, Chinese bighead carp, pacu, tambaqui, alligator gar, striped catfish, giant featherback, and both Amazon and Asian redtail.
 
 
 
 
What a great post pandemic return it was for Paul Knight in March with him landing a total of sixteen different species of fish that include new species for him like elephant ear gourami, clown and giant featherback and the icing on the cake a 400lb+ Mekong catfish hooked at last knockings on the final day. Russell Tattersall despite fishing many venues in Thailand was still to catch a 100lb+ carp but this was all about to change when he returned to Palm Tree in March; as he was about to land several including ‘The Warrior’. In addition to this he landed a huge variety of species including many new ones like Salawin rita, giant snakehead, giant featherback and elephant ear gourami. Another busy session for John King in March that was topped off by an absolute cracker of a ripsaw catfish. He also landed some great alligator gar, Mekong catfish, giant featherback, Siamese carp, wels catfish, chao Phraya catfish, striped catfish, as well las both Amazon and Asian redtail.

Eugen was another first time angler in March and was well pleased with his session after landing a number of awesome fish that included ‘The Warrior’, and the ‘Friendly Mekong’, as well as mrigal, giant featherback, albino pacu, striped catfish, catfish shark, and both Amazon and Asian redtail.
