Tevor Winn was recommended to visit Palm Tree by his mate Mark Billington who also bet him he wouldn't come back with a t-shirt. Well he lost that bet with Trevor landing an absolute stunner of a Siamese carp to join the Palm Tree Lagoon BIG Carp Club. He also landed black shark minnow, giant snakehead, striped catfish, and Amazon redtail.
 
Matt Jones was back and this time the fish were a lot more obliging the highlights of the session being a difficult to catch ripsaw catfish and a t-shirter of a Mekong catfish caught at last knocking on the last day, what a way to finish. In addition to these great catches he also landed catla carp, Siamese carp, an awesome alligator gar, Chinese bighead carp, black shark minnow, big-Y catfish, rohu, striped catfish, as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
One of the Palm tree regulars Klaus Fix had another incredible session capped off by an absolute minter of a Salween catfish and a ghost like albino striped catfish. He also caught a number of other awesome catches that included bearded labeo, another Siamese carp well over the ton mark, black shark minnow, Juliens golden price carp, striped catfish, mekong catfish and Asian redtail.
 
Andy Rutherford aka 'Scary Man' returned and had a fabulous session topped off by a bobby-dazzler of a tambaqui, a pb Siamese carp and his first Chinese bighead carp. He also caught the 'Friendly Mekong' as well as striped catfish, big-Y catfish, chao phraya catfish, mrigal a new species for him, wallago attu, as well as both Amazon and Asian redtail.
 
Palm Tree regular Micky Quayle was back and had an awesome session topped off by not one but two BIG Fish Club t-shirters firstly a right belter of a chao phraya catfish and then secondly the capture of the 'Friendly Mekong'.But he did not stop there going on the catch a huge number of other fish like wallago attu, alligator gar, yellow catfish, big-Y catfish, rohu, mollycot, catfish shark, crystal eyed catfish, striped catfish, striped snakehead a new species for him, as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
South African angler Leon Joubert was all smiles during his session that was topped off by an impressive ripsaw catfish and a stunning parapatinga. He also landed Juliens golden price carp, chao phraya catfish, Mekong catfish, striped catfish as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
Graham Everett had a great session entering the Palm Tree Lagoon BIG Catfish Club at his first attempt with an awesome Mekong catfish that took over two hours to subdue. He then went onto catch striped catfish, rohu, as well as both Amazon and Thai redtail.
 
Luke Everett caught a huge variety of splendid fish such as Siamese carp, Mekong catfish, Juliens golden price carp, mollycot, striped catfish, alligator gar, pacu, wallago attu, rohu, Siamese carp, vundu catfish, as well as both Asian and Amazon catfish.
 
Shaye Barham had a great time during her first visit to Palm Tree catching a myriad of different species that included Juliens golden price carp, black shark minnow, chao phraya catfish, striped catfish, alligator gar, Mekong catfish, Siamese carp, and Asian redtail.
 
Jeff Lock had a tremendous inaugural visit topped off by a monstrous Mekong catfish that catapulted him straight into the Palm Tree Lagoon BIG Catfish Club. In addition to this splendid catch he also landed chao phraya catfish, as well as both Thai and Amazon redtail.
 
Alan Jones came down with a couple of fishing buddies and had a good session catching arapaima, Siamese carp, Mekong catfish, striped catfish, vundu catfish, as well as both Amazon and Thai redtail.
 
Another Aussie Daniel Brown was another first time visitor that had a great session topped off by some awesome Mekong catfish and chao phraya catfish. He also caught alligator gar, as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
Palm Tree regular Martin Dunkling had another good trip landing Juliens golden price carp, Siamese carp, Mekong catfish, striped catfish, and Asian redtail.
 
Australian Steven Whiteley was off to a great start as his first fish a giant gourami was top of his bucket list. He then went onto catch a number of other species that included leopard catfish, Mekong catfish, striped catfish, mrigal, suckermouth catfish, big-Y catfish, wallago attu, rohu, as well as both Amazon and Asian catfish.
 
Japanese angler Chuki Yip thoroughly enjoyed his first session vowing to return shortly after catching Juliens golden price carp, striped catfish, Amazon restail and Siamese carp.
 
Richard Gibson also returned during the month successfully catching Siamese carp, Amazon redtail and big-Y catfish.
 
Chris Beale also had a good first trip collaring the 'Friendly Mekong' as well as Amazon redtail.
 
The other half of the Vikings duo Sturla Andreassen after a slow start to the day with striped catfish and rohu, finished off the session strongly with a Palm Tree BIG Catfish Club qualifying Mekong catfish that took him the best part of two hours to land.
 
Norwegian angler Ole Skivik caught Siamese carp, Juliens golden price carp, rohu, and Asian redtail on his first visit to Palm Tree.
 
The ever grinning John 'the Llama Man' Deakin was back landing Asian redtail, striped catfish and suckermouth catfish a new species for him.
 
Always smiling Philipp Ed Snaj returned successfully catching Mekong catfish, striped catfish and Amazon redtail.
 
Florent Frantz had his first session at Palm Tree during the month and despite the blustery conditions still caught some Amazon and Asian redtail.
 
The guides didn't do much fishing this time during the month but still managed to catch an awesome Salween catfish as well as big-Y catfish, and Siamese carp.
 
Our good friends Johnny and Tuula from Finland visited us for the day with Johnny catching a very fat Mekong catfish.
 
It was a tough day for Jack Thompson but finally he managed to land a striped catfish.
