Chris Beardwood was another angler who had a great inaugural session at Palm Tree Lagoon. The pinnacle of his catches for the week was an immaculate Siamese carp weighing in at 187lb that propelled him straight into the BIG Carp Club. He also achieved the Chinese carp trifecta catching Chinese black carp, Chinese bighead carp, and Chinese silver carp. But he didn't stop there, as he had a number of other great catches that included arapaima, tambaqui, some impressive Juliens golden price carp, chao phraya catfish, mollycot, big-Y catfish, rohu, vundu catfish, as well as both Asian and Amazon catfish and more...
 
 
 
 
Palm Tree's almost resident angler Donald McMillan was back again smashing his Juliens golden price carp pb, and picked up yet another 150lb BIG Carp Club t-shirt with a huge Siamese carp. Other noticeable catches were a superb black shark minnow, a good sized mrigal, a stunning bearded labeo and a couple of good sized arapaima. Another Palm Tree regular Andrew Harman returned during the month, no monsters this time but he still had a number of nice catches that included tambaqui, Juliens golden price carp, Siamese carp, a huge Amazon redtail, Asain redtail and more...
 
 
 
 
The effervescent 'Mad' Mickey Palmer was back and as usual there was never a dull moment as he earned himself two more Palm Tree Lagoon 300lb Catfish Club members t-shirts after a couple of lengthy battles with huge Mekong catfish. Lewis Bastin returned this time with an angling mate and between them they caught a number of stunning catches that included some stunning Mekong catfish to 300lb+ earning himself a BIG Catfish Club t-shirt in the process, a difficult to catch catla carp, arapaima, Siamese carp to a 100lb+, wallago attu, Juliens golden price carp, alligator gar,  chao phraya catfish, both Asian and Amazon redtail and a lot more...
 
 
 
 
The guides were at it again during the month catching a myriad of stunning fish that included Chinese black carp, alligator gar, Amazon redtail, Juliens golden price carp, catla carp, wallago attu, tambaqui, Siamese carp, chao phraya catfish, motoro stingray, leopard catfish, albino rohu, Mekong catfish, arapaima, Salween rita and many more...
 
 
 
 
Mark Fekkes had a great introduction to Palm Tree qualifying for the BIG Catfish Club on his very first day after a gruelling two and a half hour battle with a mighty Mekong. He also caught Juliens golden price carp, Siamese carp and rohu.
 
 
 
 
Another regular Martin Dunkling also joined the Palm Tree BIG Catfish Club during the month and also caught African walking catfish, leopard catfish, chao phraya catfish as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
 
 
 
Michael Pye was back for one of his bi-annual visits and successfully caught some impressive Juliens golden price carp as well as a rarely caught ripsaw catfish, Siamese carp, and both Amazon and Asian redtail.
 
 
 
 
A smiling Michel Van Den Eeckhaut returned and was another angler to join the Palm Tree Lagoon BIG Catfish Club after a lengthy battle with a 320lb Mekong catfish. He also caught alligator gar and Juliens golden price carp.
 
 
 
 
You can't keep Nick Peat away as he returned for another quick session before leaving Thailand and added yet another BIG Catfish Club t-shirt to the four he got last month as well as catching pacu, a stunning Chinese silver carp, black ear catfish, Siamese carp and a chunky Asian redtail.
 
 
 
 
Another angler vowing to be back very soon was Jason Eve after thoroughly enjoying catching a number of great fish that included a stunning Thai redtail, Mekong catfish, Siamese carp, and more...
 
 
 
 
The ever happy Aaron 006 Markland returned and was well pleased with his catches of Mekong catfish, Juliens golden price carp, yellow catfish, tambaqui, Chinese highfin catfish, leopard catfish, as well as both Amazon and Asian redtail.
 
 
 
 
Cat and Peter from Thailand Fishing Friends were back with an angling friend and caught Mekong catfish, Siamese carp and Amazon redtail.
 
 
 
 
Chris Hatt was all smiles with his catches of arapaima, Siamese carp and Juliens golden price carp and has already booked to return in the new year.

Jake Aitken and his fishing mate Tim were pleased with the variety of species thy caught that included bearded labeo, Siamese carp, Chinese bighead carp, Mekong catfish, crystal eyed catfish, striped catfish and Asian redtailed catfish.
 
 
 
 
German angler Jocken Korves caught several Juliens golden price carp as well as, Siamese carp, rohu and Amazon redtail.
 
 
 
 
Miles Malone make his first visit during the month catching black shark minnow, black ear catfish and Asian redtailed catfish.
 
 
 
 
German angler Dirk Kohler also returned during the month with his son catching Mekong catfish and striped catfish.
 
 
 
 
Tap of Bangkok Guiding Service brought down a return customer during the month who caught albino rohu and Siamese carp.
 
 
 
 
Tim took Micky, Eddie and Donny down to IT Lake Monster for a day. This is normally a runs water but fishing proved hard, however, both Eddie and Micky managed to catch a new species each in the form of a tambaqui and a soldier river barb. They also caught Amazon redtail.
